SalaryDemonstration of Holy Ghost and Power Ministry is a Non-denominational Charismatic Pentecostal Church that has the vision of reaching out to the community with the love of Christ.
We spur believers to use the gifts and talents that God has placed in them through the power of the Holy Spirit to cater for the needs of others in the Church and in the community.

We are providing work placement opportunities. A position has arisen for the position of Music Director Minister to assist the Church in worship and evangelism . Ideally you should have at least 3 years experience leading in similar capacity in a Pentecostal/Charismatic Church environment. You should be able to recruit other members to build up the Church worship team.
The successful candidate is expected to assist the Church in the following areas:
To lead the choir
scheduling and leading choir rehearsals;
conducting and leading the choir in performance;
recruiting and auditioning new singers and volunteers;
fostering each singer’s musical growth
appointing senior choir members to become section leaders, soloists, and assistant conductors.
Choose the choir's performance pieces, prepare special programs for holidays or special occasions
Must be able to play a musical instrument (preferably the Keyboard)
Must be able to play by ear.
Excellent interpersonal skills are a must, as are the patience, clarity,
Must be enthusiastic and dedicated, with a positive attitude and a commitment to serving the local community.
Creating a budget for the music program (costumes, sheet music, travel, set, and staging),
Performing administrative work and maintaining weekly office hours.
Organisation/Set up of music and audio video equipment for online/social media broadcast/ and site worship
Sharing of audio/video worship on social media (including Facebook and WhatsApp)
Ensure that online musical lyrics are on PowerPoint slides for service
Sending out Church songs for Church Programs (including texts, e-mails and through social media)
Online/outdoor evangelistic outreaches
Support gospel music production
Music rehearsals
Sharing music on social media/online outlets
Your work will include voluntary time to help the poor and needy in the community (through soup kitchens/handing out of provisions)
Essential
Must be able to sing and lead Church in worship
Must be able to lead in contemporary Christian Music (as in Premier Praise)
Must be conversant with leading worship music in a Pentecostal/charismatic environment
Must be conversant with using digital tools such as Vmix, Facebook, twitter and Instagram for worship and reaching out to the community
Experience in online church worship
Desirable
Project Management and Human Resource Skills
Skills and experience in music production are desirable
Ability to lead a small music class at an associated Sunday school, planning local performances and choir showcases, or training a separate church or gospel band (which typically includes instruments like keyboard, guitar and drums).
Ability to connect the church to the broader community of church music by attending conferences and seminars to bring back new pieces, techniques, and literature for development of the music department and singers.
Having a musical degree
Students and Applicants already resident in Edinburgh are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate should be Born Again (John 3:16) with evidence of speaking in tongues and having received training in Doctrines of Christ and comfortable with mainstream Charismatic Pentecostal Doctrines such as the Trinity, fruits of the Spirit, Salvation by Grace based on Christ's work on the Cross, Word of Faith, laying of hands, gifts of the Spirit, speaking in tongues, healing, prosperity, signs and wonders. The successful candidate should be comfortable with affiliation with mainstream Charismatic bodies such as the World Healing Fellowship, Benny Hinn Ministry, Kenneth Copeland Ministry and Christ for All Nations.
