Manpower has an exciting opportunity for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join the team at our client site in Yeovil within their Test Solutions Department.
The successful candidate will get hands on experience with test facilities such as
- performance rigs, high altitude test chambers
- acceleration centrifuge
- high/ low temperature cells and more.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering varied work within an exciting engineering department and some day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting data acquisition requirements from technical documentation
- Creating bespoke National Instruments LabVIEW programs
- Designing and implementing test measurement solutions
- Supporting test rig and component calibration
- Providing data acquisition support to engineering test campaigns
You will be competent in
- The use of National Instruments LabVIEW
- Have a working knowledge of PLC's and process controllers
- The ability to identify requirements from technical documentation and a HND/ HNC in a related engineering discipline of 5 years industry experience.
