Search Consultancy are recruiting for an Insurance Broker role based in Colchester working for a leading insurance business who are going through exciting times or positive change and development.
In this role is working with the existing client base providing quotations and renewals advise while assisting other team members as and when needed on products.
Job description:
- Deliver excellent customer service and stive towards meeting their requirements
- Take the time to understand the customers query and advise accordingly based on their situation
- Put forward suitable products to the customers
- Ensure that all product information provided is clear, fair and not misleading
- Calculate renewal premiums in accordance guidelines and liaise with insurers
- Manage mid term adjustments as and when needed
- Ensure all phone calls and emails are answered within a suitable timeframes
- Manage complaints efficiently and professionally
Experience required:
- Commercial or personal lines insurance experience advising existing customers on products
- Excellent communicator
- Understanding or insurance products
- Strong negotiation and people skills
- Works to a high degree of accuracy
- Good time keeping
- IT literate
- 5 / 2 years + experience within insurance
