SalaryA very exciting opportunity has come up to join a successful Insurance Broker in Tunbridge Wells who require an Account Executive to join their growing team!
The role is to provide quotations for New Business and. The role requires dealing with clients over the phone and via e-mail to ensure retention and that sales targets are maximised, through the provision of effective communication and negotiation skills.
You will need to be analytical, have good judgement skills, pay great attention to detail, be flexible, self-motivated, driven & deliver excellent customer service whilst always adhering to their individual underwriting authority limits in accordance with the procedure manual.
Role: Account Executive - Insurance
Location: Basildon
Hours: 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Duties and responsibilities:
* Continuously identify areas for improvement and provide potential solutions to help reduce cost
* Deliver excellent customer service whilst ensuring the customers' requirements are efficiently and effectively meet for New Business
* Maintain thorough and accurate records of all customer interactions
* Identify complains and refer to the necessary complaint handler
* Dealing with queries by email, telephone and in person ensuring all SLAs are adhered to
* Required to be a referral point within the branch
* Ensure that all product information provided is clear, fair, and not misleading, allowing the customer to make an informed decision
* Calculate New Business premiums in accordance with the specific carrier?
* Ensure that telephone calls are answered & dealt with promptly & efficiently
Skills & experience required:
* Competent in Windows based programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Positive can-do attitude
* strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
Experience
* Must have 2 years minimum experience working within a broking or underwriting environment.
* Cert CII qualification an advantage.
