An outstanding law firm is on the lookout for a diligent Paralegal to join their thriving Dispute Resolution team in Liverpool. Collaborating within a team environment, the successful candidate will work on behalf of legal expense insurers and their insured customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing a caseload of property litigation cases, focusing on trespass, nuisance, property damage claims, and landlord and tenant issues.
- Support across three specialisms: real property, residential landlord and tenant, and commercial landlord and tenant.
- Provide assistance in legal advice, assessments, and pragmatic solutions on various legal issues.
- Collaborate in different stages of the litigation process, under supervision.
- Build relationships with internal teams, barristers, experts, and other involved parties.
- Contribute to maintaining high levels of service delivery and management information.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable interest in civil litigation, real property claims, and landlord and tenant matters.
- Basic understanding of Possession Proceedings in residential landlord and tenant contexts and Commercial Landlord and Tenant matters.
- Familiarity with the Civil Procedure Rules.
- Willingness to learn and assist in drafting legal documents, taking and drafting witness statements.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
- Computer literate with basic skills in Microsoft Office.
