My client, a global law firm, is currently recruiting for an experienced risk and compliance professional to join them on a permanent basis – working as their new Intake Analyst in London.

This is an extremely varied and busy role, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to be part of their experienced and friendly AML and Financial Crime Compliance Team.

As the successful Intake Analyst, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Conducting CDD research in accordance with relevant AML regulations
• Identifying and verifying new clients for all European and worldwide offices
• Conducting risk assessments and review on new clients/matters
• Completing, reviewing and analysing sanctions and screenings
• Assisting the current AML Manager in responding to corporate research
• Tracking business intake processes
• Reviewing the content of matter opening and other business intake documents

To qualify for this position as their new Intake Analyst, you’ll need to have/be the following:

• Have relevant risk and compliance experience from a law firm
• Be familiar with AML legislation
• Have the ability work independently and as a team, to tight deadlines
• Have familiarity or the ability to become proficient with online research services
• Have good IT skills, including IT software packages
• Have strong research skills (the ability to source and review documents and provide analysis)
