Integrated Care Lead

Do you have experience in integrated health and care policy in England? Are you a proven partnership builder, with experience of collaborative, cross-sector working? Do you want to make a difference by supporting the VCSE sector and communities to be a key strategic partner in local health and care delivery?

We are seeking a proactive, strategically focused individual with a track record in building cross sector partnerships to lead and further develop our work to support the VCSE sector's role in local Integrated Care systems and wider health activity.

The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge of the Integrated Care policy landscape, and how the VCSE fits within it. They will be a proven partnership builder committed to and experienced in collaborative cross-sector working, and be passionate about supporting and demonstrating the value of the VCSE.

NAVCA is the umbrella body for local VCS support organisations (LIOs). We support a thriving local voluntary sector, so that anyone who wants to volunteer, or start a community group has good, local advice and support. As a small energetic team, we work collaboratively and flexibly, supporting each other as well as our members.

The key objectives of the role are to:

• Maintain and build on our position as the national strategic partner for work to embed local VCSE sectors into Integrated Care Systems
• Maintain and build on our strategic relationships with national and regional partners (e.g. NHS England, Department of Health and Social Care, other VCSE organisations and NHS Regions) and with individual Integrated Care Boards and VCSE Alliances
• Continue our work to collect and collate ongoing intelligence on the efforts to embed the VCSE sector in each ICS area
• Lead delivery of commissioned programmes, and identify, build and secure further opportunities for delivery in this space
• Build engagement and connections between individual VCSE Alliances and NAVCA members in their areas
• Lead our forums and connections with members around health and care matters, to enhance understanding and create a space for discussion in this field.

The role is full time, 35 hours per week, but we are also open to applicants with flexible working patterns including part time and job sharing. The salary is GBP36,771 per annum (pro rata if part time) plus an 8% employer pension (no employee contribution required) and 25 days holiday plus 11 days public holidays (pro-rata if part time). You will be supported in your training and career development. We welcome loan or secondment arrangements.

This is a remote working position, but the role will entail regular travel to our office in Sheffield and partner organisations.
