Intelligent Operations Programme Manager (Fixed-term until 31st March 2025)
Role Description
The Programme Manager for Intelligent Operations will report directly to the Director of Customer and Operations.
The post holder will be responsible for:
- managing an internal project management team and external consultants;
- working in partnership and collaboratively with all Business Directorates – in particular, Customer, Water/Wastewater Functions, Business Analytics, Energy, Engineering & Sustainability and Infrastructure Delivery teams;
- ensuring aims and outcomes of Efficiency, Customer Service, Environment, Resilience, Regulatory/Governance and Reputation are met.

Candidates MUST be able to demonstrate in their application and where necessary at interview that they meet the following, essential criteria:
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
1. Possess a third level qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in a relevant discipline AND a minimum of three years’ experience leading and managing Programme/ Project delivery in a “changing” Business Environment.
OR (in the absence of a third level qualification)
Five years’ experience leading and managing Programmes/ Project delivery in a “changing” Business Environment
2. Experience of developing strategy and influencing at a senior level to achieve buy in and ownership including the development and implementation of detailed action plans and delivery of outputs and outcomes.
