Organisational Development
The current CEO is working with an external consultant to produce a theory of change and strategy which will guide the organisation's activity and growth for the next several years. The primary role of the Interim Chief Executive Officer will be to begin delivering on this strategy, focussing particularly on:
- Liaising with external consultants and fundraisers to explore new fundraising streams and raise funds to support the delivery of Everyday's ambitions
- Working with the Everyday team and Board to explore alternative organisational and leadership structures
- Creating and implementing a strategy to secure a permanent Executive Director in consultation with the Board
- Creating and implementing a strategy to secure a Chair of the Board, in consultation with existing Board members
- Sustaining and developing partnerships and acting as a spokesperson for the organisation
Operational Management
- Administrative, legal, and operational management of the organisation, including ensuring the health and safety of the company premises
- Leading, supporting and motivating the Everyday team
Production and Reporting
- Maintaining oversight of all projects, ensuring they are on track to meet funding conditions
- Maintaining oversight of grant compliance and reporting
Finance and Governance
- Together with the Engagement Director and the Board, hold responsibility for the financial stability of the company
- Taking responsibility for documentation of the organisation's finances in consultation with an external bookkeeper
- Taking responsibility for budgeting and forecasting, including careful management of project budgets
- Present quarterly updates on all areas of responsibility to the Board
- Preparing agendas for Board meetings in consultation with the Board
