Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Housing Association to recruit an interim Director of Finance for an initial 6 month contract. This registered provider have had some changes within the team recently and need an experienced, strategic finance professional to lead the team.
Role:
Working closely with the Executive Director of Finance, you will lead the finance department through the year end process and manage improvement projects across the division.
Duties will include;
- Taking responsibility for accurate and timely financial reporting to support the group, executive team, Audit, risk and assurance committee and board
- Leading all regulatory reporting requirements, and overseeing the production of the annual financial statements, leading the audit process and building a relationship with the external auditors
- Acting as the lead coordinator for the development, implementation, and monitoring of Value for Money strategy for in line with regulator’s requirements
- Ensuring the group’s cash balances and cashflow forecasting is managed efficiently
Person:
The successful Interim DIrector of Finance;
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification preferred
- Previous experience of leading a year end process is essential
- Worked with board and presented reports
- Social housing experience is essential
