A leading and growing firm of chartered accountants based in Bristol is searching for a M&A Senior Tax Manager / Director to join their team as a result of ongoing positive growth and planning for the future development and success of this firms specific corporate tax service line.

Description

Joining as M&A Senior Tax Manager / Director based out of the firms Bristol offices you will take on the delivery of wide ranging complex corporate tax advisory project work supporting the firms corporate finance teams. Project work will cover:

• Pricing new projects
• Preparing risk assessments to identify key tax issues, liaising with clients and engagement teams to understand and document legal, accounting and commercial background to engagements, drafting and reviewing tax advice
• Seeking clearances and advance assurance from HMRC
• Reviewing transaction documents for consistency
• Reviewing tax deeds and warranties in transaction documents
• Reviewing target company information and preparing transaction due diligence reports

You will also take a lead in developing the wider tax team and look to work with Directors and Partners on the further growth of their tax department, carving a key role within the firm with associated progression on offer.

Profile

For this M&A Senior Tax Manager / Director role you will be any of ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified and you will have developed your career to the Corporate Tax Senior Manager / Director levels with a corporate tax focused career background, having been developed within a mix of in house and/or, entirely accountancy practice focused firm background. You will have experience of company and shareholder taxation, structuring and transactions and you will be looking for a career move with excellent career development and progression potential, within a leading and growing chartered accountancy practice.

Job Offer
