My client is seeking an experienced Marketing Events Executive for a 6-month interim position within a leading manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing events from start to finish, demonstrating exceptional organisational skills and the ability to deliver successful marketing events.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, organise, and execute marketing events from conception through to completion.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure all aspects of the events are aligned with the company’s marketing strategy.
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation arrangements.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure all services meet the expected standards.
• Create and distribute marketing materials related to events, such as invitations, brochures, and social media content.
• Monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Handle post-event analysis, reporting on outcomes, and providing recommendations for future events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing marketing events from inception to completion.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in budget management and cost control.
• Proficiency in using event management software and tools.
