Interim Finance Business Partner

INTERIM FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER - 3 MONTH CONTRACT

BURTON-UPON-TRENT - Hybrid 2 days per week in the office

£300-£400 PER DAY - IMMEDIATE START

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join the team on a temporary basis for an initial period of 3 months. The Senior Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in providing financial insights, analysis and strategic guidance to support key business decisions. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, fully qualified, Finance Business Partner, with strong analysis skills, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of partnering with senior leaders to drive performance.

Applicants will need to be available to start immediately or at short notice (c2 weeks).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with senior leaders to understand their strategic objectives and provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, forecast future performance, improve profitability and drive efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
• Prepare and present financial reports, and analysis to senior leaders with insights and recommendations
• Lead financial planning and budgeting processes
• Monitor financial performance against targets, identifying risks and opportunities

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Fully qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or ACMA
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance with an FP&A or Business Partnering focus
• Proven track record of partnering with senior leadership
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and draw actionable insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
• Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting and analysis using Excel and other tools
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organisation
