My client, a global consultancy business, urgently requires an Interim Finance Manager to take responsibility for production of the management accounts and ownership of the transactional finance team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and provide insightful commentary, reporting to the European finance team.
- Oversee the production of various reports, including weekly reporting and cash flow forecasting.
- Develop and deliver periodic and ad-hoc reports, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
- Lead and mentor a small team of transnational finance individuals and an Assistant Accountant, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in transaction processing.
- Serve as a liaison with stakeholders across the business, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
Person Specification - Summary:
- Qualified accountant
- Ideally you'll be a dedicated contractor with experience of providing effective support from day one.
- Proven track record in managing small teams and producing management accounts.
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of handling evolving roles and responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to collaborate and assist colleagues as needed.
- Comfortable with change and eager to contribute to system and process improvements.
This role is offered on a hybrid 2/3 working basis and sits inside IR35
