Interim Financial Accountant

Three Bridges Recruitment is partnering with a global organisation, based in Edinburgh, to recruit an Interim Financial Accountant, initially for a period of 7 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business and hit the ground running in a busy hands-on role.

Job

The role of Interim Financial Accountant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

• Preparation of statutory financial statements
• Ownership of month end close and reporting for your allocated area of the business
• Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process
• Provide technical accounting advice to finance team and wider business
• Analyse accounting systems for inaccuracies and potential improvements
• Engage in ad-hoc project work

You

As an Interim Financial Accountant, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

• Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA) is preferred
• Significant experience in statutory accounts preparation
• Experience with Group accounts preparation
• Proactive self-starter with proven ability to problem solve complex issues
• Advanced proficiency with core IT packages, including Excel
• Excellent communication skills and strong team player
• Ability to command respect and build productive and collaborative working relationships at all levels
• Backgrounds in commercial, manufacturing or supply chain are preferred
