Interim Financial Accountant 
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Location: Sheffield

I am working with a brilliant business based in Sheffield who are looking to recruit an Accountant in to their team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role has a real focus on financial reporting, assisting with the statutory account process and dealing with external auditors. 

• Analyse financial results ensuring that financial controls are streamlined and offer recommendations for new processes.
• Complete balance sheet analysis & reports
• Work and develop relationships with external auditors to provide relevant documentation as required and ensure deadlines are met
• Working with the team to support the statutory account process
• Assisting the business with ad-hoc projects in relation reporting platform changes or system improvement

Required qualifications/experience

• Previous experience in a high volume financial reporting role 
• Preferably previous experience with auditors as a client or practise background
• Proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines
• Understanding how to implement business process improvement
• CIMA, ACA, ACCA or other recognised accounting qualification preferred
