I have a pressing requirement for a reporting specialist to join my international client to deliver a US GAAP to IFRS conversion reporting project. This will require significant experience of IFRS16 and Fixed Assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the reporting project to seamlessly transition accounts from US GAAP to IFRS, focusing on technical specialism in IFRS 16.
- Analyse and understand the current US GAAP reporting processes, identifying areas for improvement to ensure accurate and compliant Financial Reporting.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of IFRS 16 standards, applying technical expertise to navigate complexities within the international business framework.
- Providing support for budget and 5-year plan preparation related to these postings.
- Assisting in the delivery of statutory reporting, including technical transaction support, addressing audit queries, and preparing accounting memos.
- Taking charge of finalising the IFRS/US GAAP Fixed Asset Register.
- Manage stakeholders effectively, fostering collaboration across departments and ensuring clear communication of project objectives and progress.
- Uphold a high level of attention to detail to guarantee precision in Financial Reporting, adhering to IFRS standards.
Key requirements:
- Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA etc..
- A keen understanding of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Experience of a complex, mid-sized business.
- Experience of working within a manual process environment.
- Experience of working to deliver the statutory audit.
