Harmonic Finance are proud to be working exclusively with one of the leading fintech start-ups in the UK in the search for their Interim FP&A Manager. With the rising popularity of digital asset trading, comes the rising need for security and safety in this industry. As more institutions look for a safe way to invest, our client is offering them a secure, regulated partner to allow them to trade with the same confidence as with traditional assets.

Having raised $270m in funding, led by renowned financial institutions, they are actively engaged in growing internationally. With a fantastic new office space in Central London and a flexible/hybrid working model, they have an exceptionally talented team (with a CFO who has a track record of scaling 2 separate $1bn+ valuation fintech scale-ups) and are now looking for an experienced FP&A Manager for a 3-4 month period.

The Role

Reporting into their Head of FP&A, this role has significant exposure across multiple business departments and senior leadership. This opens up an opportunity to drive commercial performance in a business partnering capacity. In this 3-Month contract position, the FP&A Managers main responsibilities will be to own the Budgeting and Forecasting as well as the financial modelling of this Fintech business. The position will be on a hybrid basis, with 3 days in there breathtaking office space in central London.

Responsibilities

• Production of Annual Budgets
• Production of Quarterly Forecast and Board Decks
• Financial Modelling, Scenario Analysis, and ensuring model integrity.
• Ad-hoc projects for the Head of FP&A and CFO.
• Development of the Cashflow Statement.
• Business Partner with Exec and Senior Management.
• Ensure data integrity by liaising with Sales & other teams.

Essential Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Previous Experience in an FP&A role and a proven ability to lead on budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
• Experience using CRM & FP&A Software (ideally PowerBI & Metabase)
• Experience in a Financial Services.
• Excellent communicator.

Bonus Experience

• Experience in a Fintech Business.

Location: London (Hybrid)

Start Date: ASAP

Day Rate: £400-£500/day (Inside IR35)
