Interim Group Financial Controller

Altum Consulting are excited to be supporting a high-growth SME within the hospitality sector to secure a Group Financial Controller for an initial 6 month contract. The role will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the group, manage a team (2 directly) and have key focus on creating and developing a "fit for purpose" control environment as the business continues to grow.
Key responsibilities,
- Development and maintenance of internal controls as the business expands.
- Delivery of month end close and management accounts.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal reporting requirements.
- Develop finance process for new activities and business ventures including expansion into new territories.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including, banks, HMRC, and professional advisers and private equity owners.
- Cash and working capital management and reporting.
- Team management/leadership.
Required Skill-set,
- ACA/CA Qualified Accountant
- Experience working within the hospitality sector or multi-site business.
- Experience leading and developing a team.
- Experience working within a PE or VC backed business (desired but not essential)
- Available immediately/short notice period.
