An exciting opportunity for an interim Group Finance Director is available on an 18 month contract to support the development and the team of this £1bl pound international listed business. The role will be supporting the Group CFO in taking oversight of the full Group function and leading a team of up to 35.
This business has recently acquired a couple of other business so will need a really agile person who can improve processes and efficiencies whilst creating and developing internal opportunities for the team.
Role:
- Provide strategic support to the business functions including monthly reports and analysis, preparing board presentations, capital and revenue spend reviews, operating plan variance analysis and special projects including driving systems and process efficiency gains within Finance;
- Oversight of the Global FP&A, Global reporting, Tax & Treasury and controls for the Group business, circa 35 people;
- Strong team orientated individual who is able to coach and develop people;
- Drive talent and succession plans and implement actions for all critical Finance roles;
- Drive, improve and champion system and process changes throughout the organisation to achieve significant efficiency gains within the function;.
- Prepare monthly dashboard style Board Pack and commentary as directed by the CFO and brief CFO in preparation for management and board meetings;
- In agreement with Group Audit and Risk committee, design and implement appropriate control systems to safeguard the assets of the Group;
- Oversee tax compliance in UK and USA; monitor tax compliance in other Subsidiary locations;
