Hays have partnered with a prestigious Edinburgh-based organisation, who are looking for an experienced Head of finance to join the team on an interim basis.

Your new role

As the Interim Head of finance, you will look after all aspects of the management and leadership of finance for the organisation.Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that the financial strategies and processes are being carried out
• Be part of the Senior Leadership Team, with responsibility for strategic financial management and financial performance
• Responsible for all aspects of finance , providing a high-level service to users
• Develop income generating and cost-reducing strategies
• Lead, financially, on strategic projects within the region
• Develop relationships with key financial partners.

What you'll need to succeed

• You will be a Qualified Accountant with experience of implementing financial processes, reporting and planning.
• Proven excellence in successfully managing, supporting and motivating a team
• Strong financial management skills
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to form solid, lasting working relationships
