Interim Head of Legal

Role: Interim Head of Legal - 12 month FTC
Location: UK Remote
Salary: Up to £140k
New, remote working opportunity to act as Interim Head of Legal for a business with significant presence in the UK and Europe.
Working closely with the CEO and CFO, you'll oversee the Legal function for the Group Business. This is largely a remote working role, with once a month travel to London required. It is also anticipated that 2-3 visits to a site in Europe will be required in the 12 month duration
Our client is a growing player in the Renewable Fuels sector, operating across UK and Europe. This is a key period for them, so as well as the day to day business, you'll have the opportunity to be involved in some genuinely interesting and challenging work.
A flavour of the role is below:

• M&A, financing and other transactional work, including internationally
• Group Company Secretarial function 
• Supporting senior stakeholders with compliance and ongoing regulatory requirements affecting the Industry, new legislation, policies and procedures etc
• HR/ Employment Law queries
• Various commercial contracts
• Management of external legal counsel

This is an excellent, senior interim opportunity for an in-house solicitor with a Corporate / Commercial background. Energy / Infrastructure experience would be beneficial, but is not essential. You'll be able to demonstrate previous experience of balancing senior stakeholder management with the day to day legal role, and delivering on a variety of in-house matters.
