Remit:

- This position will suit an experienced Quality Manager with proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- As Quality Manager you will play a key role in ensuring products meet and exceed customer expectations
Role:
- In the role of Quality Manager you will be responsible for organizing and leading quality inspections, managing non-conformance and overseeing supplier quality assurance
- As Quality Manager you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving Quality Management Systems such as IATF16949, ISO9001 and ISO14001
- Managing internal quality and supplier audits
- Liaise with external certification bodies
- Develop Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans etc
- Manage and compile Production Part Approval Planning Process (PPAP)
- Assist in APQP Coordination
- Assist in conducting process / machine capability studies
- Liaise with customers on any Quality issues
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience of quality engineering / management within manufacturing
- Good people management skills
- Auditing experience
- Knowledge of processes such as injection moulding, paint finishing and assembly work
- Experience of working to IATF16949 and ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
- Attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
