London / Sheffield/ hybrid - flexible working - to c. 6 months
Our client is a leading edge, Private Equity backed SaaS business with a proven , scalable platform. They are poised for significant international growth both organically and by a series of planned acquisitions. They are seeking a Revenue Operations specialist to partner key stakeholders and the FP&A function focusing on the Revenue operations, in particular Sales pipeline to support growth. You will provide full visibility and analysis of the Sales pipeline and Revenue to the CFO, Board and Investors. Owning the Revenue model, forecasts and analytics and having involvement in pricing strategy and contract renewals, thus ensuring optimisation of process aligning Sales & Marketing and driving improvements to control and operational efficiency. Whilst the finance function is based in Sheffield, the business has a truly agile approach and as such you could be based in any location across the UK provided you are prepared to travel a few times a month. The leadership team often work/meet in London, particularly with Investors based there.
Responsibilities include:
  • Ensure all revenue datasets and CRM (Salesforce) pipeline is robust, automated where possible to enable robust forecasting and planning
  • Evolve the analytics and reporting to drive accuracy of key decision-making SaaS KPIs
  • Be the Salesforce and JMAN superuser, ensuring full functionality is highlighted and best practice usage embedded across the business by Sales and Marketing teams
  • Work with finance function to ensure processes and controls around the billing software as well as the interface with the customer cube (aka JMAN) and NetSuite are fit for purpose to ensure efficient and accurate, automated billing as well as ARR reporting i.e., new bookings, x-sell, upsell, downsell and churn
  • Undertake full audit of sales, marketing and customer acquisition processes, working with finance to identify appropriate flows, controls and drive efficiency implementing best practice across the organisation
  • Work closely with the finance team with involvement in budgeting and forecasting
  • Manage and streamline the multiple systems mapping out the journey from leads right through to contract renewals/pricing uplifts
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to maintain and improve data insights for accuracy and relevance - ensuring data can be measured by product, channels and markets - and flexed as required by leadership
  • Maintain the data hygiene and integrity overseeing required clean ups
  • Develop and implement training programs to support and build the capability of sales and customer teams
  • Develop and implement sales processes, policies and procedures to streamline operations and improve the sales team productivity.

Key requirements for the role:
  • Immediately available to start
  • Graduate level education and ideally professionally qualified UK Accountant or similar
  • Experience of CRMs, ideally salesforce and ideally with SaaS subscriptions systems
  • Experience of provision of analytics and Revenue and ARR reporting, with a SaaS/recurring revenue organisation
  • Data driven and analytical, with a deep understanding of working with large data sets and ability to interpret, detect patterns, present data and manage risk and optimise opportunities
  • A track record within high growth organisation's where you have contributed to revenue growth and productivity improvements, enabling the Sales team to be highly effective and supported
  • Worked with varied systems and able to reconcile outputs / variable systems in tandem
  • Excellent IT and modelling skills
