Interim Head of Treasury & Financial Planning

My client is a Housing Association in Hertfordshire currently on the lookout of an Interim Head of Treasury and Financial Planning for a six month contract. Key responsibilities include:

• Take ownership of the strategic elements of the Housing Association’s Treasury function, including supporting on the securing of new funding
• Maintain strong relationships with lenders
• Support on raising new debt to support potential stock acquisitions
• Line manage team members in Treasury and Financial Planning as a critical time of year for these functions.

The role would join this team at a critical time under the leadership of a highly respected Finance Director, who is leading the drive towards a significant amount of change and increased offering from the finance and Treasury functions.

The successful applicant will work out of the Hertfordshire office twice per week. Please note this contract will fall inside scope of IR35 and therefore will be paid via Umbrella.

To be considered here are the criteria to meet:

• Have substantial experience leading Treasury and Financial Planning in the Housing sector
• Have experience managing relationships with lenders
• Ideally have gained experience in sizeable Housing Associations.
