SalaryThis position seeks an innovative Interim IT Category Manager who can use their Public Sector experience to call off frameworks for direct awards, in particular Crown Commercial frameworks, including the G-Cloud framework.

Description
- Call of frameworks for direct awards, including CCS/G-Cloud frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and meet their IT needs
- Support the wider team and contribute to the overall IT category
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT category
- Manage supplier relationships and contracts effectively
- Ensure compliance with the Public Contract Regulations
- Manage risk within the IT category effectively
- Ensure the provision of high-quality IT goods and services
Profile
A successful IT Category Manager should have:
- IT Category experience
- Experience using CCS/G-Cloud frameworks
- Local Authority experience is preferred
- Have an understanding of governance
- Experience in the Public Sector, using PCR2015
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Experience liaising with difficult clients and being able to push expectations
