Robertson Bell are excited to be working with a well-established Public Sector organisation as they go out to market for a Management Accountant for an initial 3 month period with the potential to become part of the finance team on a permanent basis. This person will have the chance to develop their experience in finance as well as being offered a flexible, hybrid working pattern!
The Interim Management Accountants responsibilities include:
- Updating the management accounts, including journal postings, prepayments, and accruals.
- Business partnering with budget holders to discuss variances in the budget and provide further financial advice.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders with varying levels of seniority to ensure efficient communication.
This would be an excellent opportunity for someone who is ready to take their next steps to progress their knowledge and experience in management accounting and business partnering!
The successful Management Accountant should possess:
- Exposure to the management accounts process, and a desire to develop this experience.
- Ideally experience working with non-financial stakeholders to provide financial advice.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ideally have started your accountancy qualifications.
