Interim Management Accountant

This role calls for an Interim Management Accountant who will take charge of preparing, developing and analysing key financial information to ensure that the organisation's management team makes well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth and profitability.

Description

The key responsibilities of an Interim Management Accountantwill include, but may not be limited to;

• Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
• Undertake variance analysis and commentaries.
• Ensure financial systems are robust and support current activities and future growth.
• Lead on the annual audit process within the organisation.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the management team.
• Process invoices.
• Manage organisational budgeting processes.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance.
• Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc projects.

Profile

A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:

• Not for Profit and Charities background desirable.
• Part qualified Accountancy or minimum of 3 years QBE.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in financial software programmes.
• A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work as part of a team.
