Interim Management Accountant

There is an immediate opportunity for a Part or qualified Management Accountant to join an extremely well-established manufacturing business in Alfreton on an interim basis for what will be an initial 4 - 5 month contract, The role will provide support the Finance team through year end and assist on a number of projects. Working closely with the Senior management Team the role will play a key part in supporting critical business decision making processes by analysing and presenting key financial data.
Key responsibilities will include:
Producing Management Accounts for the business units
Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
Variance Analysis
Cost centre management
Accruals & Prepayments
Quarterly flash results
Assist with year end stat audit process
The successful applicant will demonstrate proven experience in a similar role, excellent knowledge and practical application of Financial principles and practices, Working knowledge of cost accounting and reporting as well as a pro active and flexible approach
