Interim Management Accountant

Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a growing business in Blackburn as they look to recruit an interim Management Accountant for an initial 6 months, this role will support the financial controller in driving projects and take ownership of producing monthly management accounts
Key Responsibilities

• Monthly / Quarterly / Annual reporting preparation & consolidation
• Project work involving creating, leading or supporting projects
• Performing management accounting duties with accuracy and attention to detail
• Monthly management accounts including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Posting key journals entries
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Identify areas of improvement and implement robust processes
• Support with financial internal & external auditors
• Assist with year-end statutory accounts

The successful candidate will be part qualified or qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or QBE) with a strong background in month end processes, strong attention to detail and good communication skills across the finance and wider business
