My client is respected market leader with a fantastic head office in the centre of Birmingham. They have an urgent need for a Payroll Manager to start asap for a period of 6 months. - Provides leadership and oversight of the payroll and pensions team of 4 and associated systems and business processes
- Provides advice to the Payroll Supervisor and Pensions Manager on HMRC rules and relevant tax and HR legislation
- Provides the payroll sign-off pack for the Finance Director approval
- Releases the BACS file for finance processing, following sign-off / approval
- Provides payroll and pensions reports / analytics for consumption by Senior Management
- Ensures effective payroll system and data management controls are in place
- Manages GDPR compliance
- Audits the payroll to make sure it satisfies all HMRC rules and other relevant legislation
- Develops and refines payroll processes and procedures
- Ensures payroll issues / queries are managed and resolved in a timely manner
