Interim PMO

We are seeking an Interim PMO (Project Management Officer) to assist with a critical project in the Energy & Natural Resources sector based in Southampton. The successful candidate will bring their experience in Consultancy, Strategy & Change to help steer the project to success.

Description

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of the project.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Provide leadership and support to the project team.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

Profile

A successful Interim PMO should have:

• Significant project management and delivery experience.
• Proven experience of delivering projects to time, cost and quality.
• Successful experience of translating analysis into practical implementation.
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to drive projects to success.
• Facilitation and workshop experience.
• Experience of different project management approaches e.g. agile and waterfall.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.

Job Offer

• A competitive day rate of between £450 and £550 per day (may be some flexibility).
