Role: Interim Global Procurement Lead - Logistics and Warehousing

Rate: £728 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Client: World-leading FMCG organisation

Duration: 6-7 months

Location: Hybrid working from home and London

Are you a Leadership-level Procurement Manager, with expert experience in Logistics and Ocean Freight Procurement?

This is an excellent interim opportunity with global scope, to join a world-leading Consumer Goods organisation, in a fast-paced team responsible for 12bn spend, and in support of a multi-year financial and productivity plan.

This Team is responsible for long-term strategic Category development, innovation, and driving holistic value.

Logistics and Warehousing sourcing within this FTSE 100 Leader, has over $1bn annual spend, with 300 warehouses globally. As an integral part of the Leadership Team, you will lead a team of 5 individuals, drive business-critical Procurement strategy and provide day-to-day stability. #

You will drive global deals in Transportation and Freight, with high-value contract spends c.£100m, requiring liaison with C-suite level stakeholders to gain senior sign-off. This role will provide key support and direction to the organisation's projects in warehouse optimisation.

You will be expected to provide robust and actionable insight in the Logistics and transport space, influencing broader teams.

Requirements:

• 10+ years' Procurement experience.
• Expertise and knowledge in Logistics and Ocean Freight Categories
• End-to-end Procurement and Supply Chain, with global exposure.
• Calm Leader, with the Gravitas to influence key stakeholders up to Director level and the broader Team.
