Interim Procurement Manager | £400 - £475 per day | Hybrid | Public Sector
Castlefield Recruitment are currently partnering with a Public Sector organisation based in the North-East, recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join on a temporary basis for a period of 3 - 6 months.
This organisation operates a hybrid working policy and this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team. This position would be ideally suited to an individual with an extensive understanding of the procurement lifecycle, PFI knowledge and proven experience with end-to-end procurement activities.
Role:
- Providing procurement support advice and guidance to staff, ensuring compliance with public sector legislation and internal policies
- Reporting to the Head of Procurement, overseeing strategic contract management responsibilities
- Line management responsibilities of 3 category leads
- Attending meetings with senior leadership
- Completing tendering activities for strategic contracts
Person:
- MCIPS qualification is essential
- Public or Private sector experience
- Great understanding and proven experience of contract management
- Good knowledge of Private Finance Initiatives (PFI’s)
