Dedicate Recruitment is supporting this busy secondary school in Greenwich, part of a small Trust, to appoint a highly experienced and proactive HR Manager with a strategic edge to cover until August 2024.
Reporting to the Head Teacher, and managing a team of two, you will lead on all areas of employee relations, absence management, recruitment and review of policies and procedures in line with good HR practice. You will also have an input to strategic review of policies and compliance across the Trust.
You will bring your expertise of employment legislation and can support and guide staff effectively.
Naturally a strong communicator, you will be highly organised, with critical attention to detail. You will report to the Head of HR and Head Teacher on all aspects of HR issues and have a sound understanding of the Burgundy and Green book relating to Teacher Pensions and Pay scales.
This is a fully involved role and no two days are the same. The successful candidate will be minimum CIPD Level 5 qualified, coupled with experience of leading a busy HR function.
There will be a requirement to travel to the Trust Head Office in Poplar one day per week.
This is a full time role of 35 hours per week, on site only. There is no hybrid working available.
