- Conduct a thorough analysis of retail sales data, including sales performance and store operations, to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Update and maintain reporting dashboards and tools to provide accurate and timely information to internal stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with the retail operations and planning teams to support demand forecasting, inventory management, and assortment planning processes.
- Analyze customer and market data to identify growth opportunities, customer segmentation, and market trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve retail operations, optimize sales strategies, and enhance profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and store operations, to drive alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies, promotional activities, and store performance metrics to maximize sales and margin performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in retail business analytics, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
About you…
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, or a related field
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in business analysis, preferably within the retail industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
- Proficient in utilising data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Solid understanding of retail business models, sales processes, and key performance indicators.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels.
