Agora Talent is recruiting for an Interim Finance Analyst on behalf of one of the most highly-regarded names in the Retail space. The role…

• Conduct a thorough analysis of retail sales data, including sales performance and store operations, to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Update and maintain reporting dashboards and tools to provide accurate and timely information to internal stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with the retail operations and planning teams to support demand forecasting, inventory management, and assortment planning processes.
• Analyze customer and market data to identify growth opportunities, customer segmentation, and market trends.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve retail operations, optimize sales strategies, and enhance profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and store operations, to drive alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies, promotional activities, and store performance metrics to maximize sales and margin performance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in retail business analytics, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

About you…

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, or a related field
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential
• Previous experience in business analysis, preferably within the retail industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
• Proficient in utilising data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Solid understanding of retail business models, sales processes, and key performance indicators.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels.
