Interior Design Project Coordinator Job in Richmond, London
An Interior Design Project Coordinator job is now available, with a luxury residential developer in Richmond, London.
A multi-award-winning, luxury developer with properties in the UK, primarily in SW London and internationally in the South of France and Mauritius. Their projects range in size from 18,000 sq. ft through to 28,000 sq. ft and their designs are an understated mixture of classic design with a contemporary twist.
With a pipeline of very exciting projects in the UK and abroad, they are currently looking for an Interior Design Project Coordinator to join their team. The perfect candidate will be proactive and organised and will have experience working in an admin capacity, within the interiors and/or construction industry.
Role & Responsibilities
- Working with Interior Design consultants and liaising with the Head of Design & Construction and CEO
- Creating Interior Design implementation processes including schedules and specifications
- Liaising with interior trade suppliers including opening accounts, obtaining trade pricing/information required, etc
- Obtaining quotations and invoices, raising purchase orders, organising payments
- Ensuring all orders are tracked and assisting with the logistics of shipments
- Creating and managing furnishing inventories for all projects, including logging all purchases, item details, location
- Preparing presentation of ID proposals for CEO to review
- Assisting with sourcing and making sure properties are ‘guest ready’ – room amenities; kitchen equipment; serve ware, etc.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working on the admin/coordination/delivery of Interior Design Projects
- FF&E sourcing/procurement experience
- Highly organised and able to implement internal processes
- Ability to assist with the coordination and specification of large-scale, high-end residential projects
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Happy to be hands-on and liaise directly with suppliers and contractors
- Have a flexible approach and be able to multi-task
- Self-motivated and able to work using your own initiative
- Understanding of English, French, Italian design styles, art and antiques and/or contemporary pieces would be highly beneficial.
