Looking for an Internal Audit Manager with an excellent grasp of Internal Audit & IIA Standards with exposure to the public sector. This individual will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.

Description

The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for;

• Leading the Internal Audit team to assess the effectiveness of internal controls
• Identifying and managing risks to help safeguard the company's assets
• Developing comprehensive audit reports to share with senior management
• Ensuring compliance with financial and operational regulations
• Providing recommendations to enhance efficiency and performance
• Conducting regular training sessions for staff on risk management
• Collaborating with external auditors as necessary
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and legislative changes

Profile

A successful Internal Audit Manager should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• A professional certification, such as ACCA, ACA, CIA, CMIIA
• Proven experience in a similar role within the public sector
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Highly skilled in risk management and internal controls
• Strong understanding of financial and operational regulations
