Description
The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for;
- Leading the Internal Audit team to assess the effectiveness of internal controls
- Identifying and managing risks to help safeguard the company's assets
- Developing comprehensive audit reports to share with senior management
- Ensuring compliance with financial and operational regulations
- Providing recommendations to enhance efficiency and performance
- Conducting regular training sessions for staff on risk management
- Collaborating with external auditors as necessary
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and legislative changes
Profile
A successful Internal Audit Manager should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- A professional certification, such as ACCA, ACA, CIA, CMIIA
- Proven experience in a similar role within the public sector
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Highly skilled in risk management and internal controls
- Strong understanding of financial and operational regulations
