Hinkley Point C is the first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years !! Based in Somerset it will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and career opportunities.

Role Purpose

• You will fulfil the Internal Audit programme and report findings to QA Manager and Area QA Leads.
• Assist the area lead in ensuring that the Project Quality Assurance requirements are understood and implemented and to ensure that Client and statutory requirements are effectively met.
• Support the Quality Assurance Area Lead for the activities such as developing standards, incorporating lessons learned / best practices in the quality system, training on quality, audits and quality improvements.

• Qualifications in an Engineering discipline, ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience).
• Preferred membership of Chartered Quality Institute or similar
• Lead auditor training 9001:2015 or equivalent and passed, preferably IRCA registered
• Experience in Quality or Audit positions.
• Experience with internal auditing with major projects
• Nuclear or other regulated industry experience beneficial
• Working in Alliance agreement projects beneficial
