We are proud to be partnering with a well-established and respected organisation within the healthcare sector, who are looking to appoint an Internal Communications Lead on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in Nottinghamshire, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working). The salary for this position is £60,000 rising in increments to £70,500 in year 3 (starting salary can be negotiable) plus a £7,000 car allowance per annum and up to 15% annual bonus.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience of Internal Communications. Healthcare experience would be beneficial, however is not essential.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Develop, maintain and deliver an annual communications strategy, with clear KPIs, aligned to corporate priorities
- Responsible for working with the whole organisation to implement effective Internal Communications strategies
- Liaise with senior leaders, members of the executive team and managers to determine the internal communication needs within the organisation and deliver solutions to drive performance to meet the organisation’s needs
- Act as an advisor to key stakeholders to ensure that business/project updates are communicated effectively to inform, educate and engage employees
- Develop and implement an internal communication’s business partner model
- Develop, maintain and deliver a transformation communications strategy that educates, informs and engages colleagues
- Responsible for re-developing and improving the intranet/SharePoint as a key Internal Communications tool, working alongside IT
- Ensure messages from senior management are reflected in communications to key stakeholders, some of these messages are likely to contain commercially sensitive information, such as organisational restructures
- Be the first point of contact for internal communication enquiries and requests for advice
Experience required:
- Extensive background leading Internal Communications teams/departments
- Working with high numbers of key stakeholders
- Implementing an effective Business Partner model
- Ability to deal with change across a large-scale organisation
- Preparing and implementing internal communication strategies
- Experience of working within a complex matrix organisation
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Critical attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word/Adobe/PowerPoint
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines/targets

- 37 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm / 9:00am-5:00pm (flexible)
