We’re teaming up with a major player in theglobal Insurance industry, who’re on the lookout for a Communications Manager (predominantly internal, with some aspects of external) to join a collaborative and high-achieving Corporate Communications function on an initial 12month fixed-term contract basis.
With more detail below, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic communications counsel anddelivering effective and engaging communications that further our client’s purpose, vision, values and strategicobjectives.

Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the Internal Communications pipeline and key communication channels (including the intranet), and prepare context papers, Q&As and messaging & positioning documents, in line with business goals and best practice.
Develop and deliverbroader Internal Communicationsplans and content to further our client’s strategic objectives.
Support change through effective communications planning, stakeholder engagement and delivery.
Produce superior-quality content including blogs; speeches/talking points; newsletters; presentations; features etc.
Measurethe effectiveness of communications activities, producing insights reports and recommendations, and delivering improvements.
Contribute to externally focused projects, campaigns and activities,including: social mediainitiatives, press releases, news articles, as well as identifying and leveraging opportunities to promotethe company’s key brand messages and products.
Key Requirements
Proven Internal Communications manager-level experience, ideally within a large, complex organisation
Experience of developing content strategies and writing content from scratch.
Ability to manage a complex workload and work autonomously to tight deadlines
An excellent command of the English language with a proven ability to write clear, compelling and concise communications, adapting writing style and tone to various audiences.
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
A great team player who is confident, proactive and self-motivated.
