Role Overview: As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will play a vital role within our defence client's communication function, ensuring a trusted and timely dialogue with internal and external stakeholders. The team is dedicated to setting new standards in product and corporate communication to drive organizational strategy, nurture partnerships, and build a strong brand reputation globally. Responsibilities: • Delivering local-level Internal Communications activities to support business operational targets and local communication objectives, ensuring the right message is communicated to the right audience. • Identifying the most effective approach to using media, creating, validating, and sharing company messages on respective topics. • Managing local internal channels, including content creation, article publication, proofreading, internal TV programming, and poster campaigns. • Collaborating closely with the plant's management team and representing communications within multi-functional teams to identify opportunities, provide advice, and ensure close coordination. • Planning all internal communication in line with corporate communications plans, prioritizing key topics, and liaising with the external communication team to ensure a clear understanding of the external landscape. • Working with the events team to support the organization of major internal events locally. • Measuring the effectiveness of the above-mentioned activities and adjusting strategies accordingly. Qualifications and Skills: • Experienced 360 Communications Professional with a strong background in Internal Communications. • Project management skills. • Strong team player with experience in stakeholder management. • Good copywriting and editorial skills. Contract Details: This position is offered on a contractual basis until 12/06/2024, with a high likelihood of extension based on performance and organisational needs.
