We have a great internal opportunity based at our Corby campus for a Course Manager to become a key member of our Engineering department.

As a Course Manager for Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Being responsible for Full & Part Time (Excluding Apprenticeships) provision
  • Carrying out, preparing, teaching and assessing on a range of Engineering programmes in line with College policies and procedure as directed by the Head of Department. Teaching commitment will be arranged to match specialisms and experience.

Our ideal candidates will have experience of consistently providing a high-quality learning experience for all students and ability to teach up to and including L3 MV Studies, alongside the following qualifications:

  • Relevant L3 EngineeringQualification discipline or significant industrial experience
  • English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year

Contract Type – Bedford College

  • 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
