Job description

We have a great opportunity for internal progression within The Bedford College Group based at our Corby Campus & Corby Sixth Form for a Senior Coordinator to become a key member of our Estates and Facilities department.
As a Senior Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:
  • Acting as a first point of contact and oversee all operational issues on a day-to-day basis and ensure that effectiveness is maximised in order that the College can fulfil its statutory obligations
  • Managing, supporting and mentoring the Estates & Facilities teams. Undertaking the annual appraisals and setting/monitoring of objectives.
  • Managing the day-to-day work of the Estates & Facilities team ensuring the whole team works in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
Our ideal candidates will have substantial experience in an Estates & Facilities or other similar operational role and at least 2 years of supervisory experience of managing an Estates & Facilities team effectively, alongside the following qualifications:
  • Willing to undertake and complete all necessary training involved with the role
  • IOSH Managing Safety or equivalent qualification
  • Qualification in Customer Care
  • Valid SIA Licence
  • First Aid at work qualification (3 day)

Contract Type - Bedford College Professional Services
  • 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
