SalaryOur Client is a growing, forward thinking, yet family run Accountancy Practice with realistic continued growth plans to reach Top 50 status. This is exciting time to join them as an auditor, with flexibility to make the role your own. They require an internal auditor for their 10 UK branches based in the South of England - travel required to each site. This can be done on a part-time basis OR the role can be full time with additional external audit work for any of their 5.5K clients.
Duties Will include;
- Carry out external audit field work.
- Carry out audit planning work.
- Carry out audit finalisation work.
- Design internal audit papers.
- Perform quality control internal audit of 10x Group companies looking at, but not limited to;
- Cold file reviews of audit work.
- Hot file reviews of audit work.
- Sample of non-audit jobs, for compliance with FRS 102 & FRS102 S.1a & FRS105 & Companies Act.
- Sample of AML compliance.
- Sample of Data Protection Act / GDPR compliance.
- Sample of ACCA & ICAEW compliance.
- Prepare an improvement plan/action points.
- Build & implement a customer complaints procedure & whistleblowing procedure.
- Manage that customer complaints procedure.
- Handle (potential) PI claims with insurance agent.
- Rank each practice in a league table for compliance, and who needs support/training.
- Report findings to Group members.
- Other adhoc work as determined by the Executive Committee.
