Job description

Key Responsibilities:

•Reacting to legal issues as they arise

•Proactively identifying, highlighting, and advising senior management on legal issues related to the business.

•Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

•Brand and reputation protection

•Protecting the organisation from litigation

•Managing and protecting supplier and customer contractual arrangements

•Identifying and managing risk

•Managing relationships with external counsel and stakeholders

•Ownership in the creation, review and coordination of all Company legal documents such as, MoU’s, Commercial Contracts and NDA’s.

• Assisting in corporate transactions including undertaking / reviewing disclosure aspects of a transaction, preparing, and negotiating ancillary documents.

•Assisting supply chain in terms alignment and agreement

•Undertake internal due diligence for funding requirements.

•This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.

Person Requirements:

•6 years PQE in Corporate or equivalent, including extensive experience in working with commercial contracts.

•Strong commercial awareness and good general knowledge of company law and corporate transactions.

•Excellent verbal and written communicator.

•Has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike.

•Have a proactive, innovative, and value-adding mindset.
