In this role as an Internal Quality Assurer, you will support the Quality Manager and the Management Team to ensure that compliance is achieved. The UK Rail industry has strict rules and regulations for HSQE.
Required Qualifications and Skills as an Internal Quality Assurer:
- Internal Quality Assurance Qualification (IQA/V1) Essential
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal - Essential
- Experience in Internal Quality Assurance - Desirable
- Training/Delivery experience Desirable
- Experience in Internal Quality Assurance - Desirable
- Experience in Rail Desirable
- Experienced in the use of MS Office
Key Duties:
- Assist the Quality Manager and Management Team during audits
- Collaborate closely with Quality Manager and Management Team
- Aid in day to day operations as needed
- Provide support for RISQS/ISO Audits (RISQS is a rail term)
- Facilitate Standardisation Meetings
- Assist Track Safety Trainers on and off site
- Monitor and assist CPD of staff and online exams
- Strategise upskilling initiatives with the Business Development Team to meet demand
- Participate in Track Safety / Provider Forums
- Manage the distribution of Sentinel Material updates to all trainers
- Share relevant industry updates with trainers
- Handle client questionnaires
- Track and manage fatigue reporting
- Conduct trainer observations in locations throughout the UK
- Support colleagues with Tenders
- Internally Verify Course packs
- Carry out internal audits
- Ensure compliance with all procedures related to Quality Management and update systems accordingly.
