This successful business has grown nicely over the past several years and holds an excellent market position within the UK. With ambitious plans for expansion in the pipeline, they are now seeking a dynamic and tenacious Internal Sales Account Manager to join their busy team in Burntwood.
Collaborating with the sales team, the successful candidate will report to the Sales Manager, undertake a wide range of responsibilities and will play a vital role in closing sales and maximising opportunities and profitability across new and existing accounts.
Candidates with experience gained in a sales environment is essential, and a proven track record of successfully closing sales and working with warm enquiries and leads would be of particular interest.
The Offer:
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with an hour for lunch
- Salary Guide: £25,000 plus an annual bonus of circa £3,000
- 24 days annual leave rising to 26 days after 2 years

Internal Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Listen and understand customer needs to create and share detailed quotations for existing and potential customers
- Create detailed quotations and actively chase outstanding quotations to close sales
- Speak to customers to build ongoing relationships and seek out upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Handle all administration related to the sale, which includes inputting quotation information and sales activity to the CRM, and processing orders
- Provide sales activity reports, liaising with the Sales Manager to gain feedback and guidance
Skills and Experience:
- Skilled in producing quotations with a service or technical bias and confident working with other departments and functions to gather quote information
- Has a history of chasing clients over the phone for purchase orders
- Happy liaising with customers and fostering strong relationships
- Tenacious and motivated, keen to exceed expectations and meet targets
- Well-organised with a keen eye for detail and a 'can do’ attitude
