My client has been supplying industrial inkjet printer systems to manufacturing companies across the UK and Europe for 20 years. They are based in rural offices in South Oxfordshire, with a subsidiary in Belgium for servicing customers in the EU. Inkjet printers are widely used for marking industrial and consumer goods with traceability information. They can be used to print date codes, batch numbers, logos, or bar codes directly onto products, boxes and packing cases. The company provides technical expertise to design and install printer systems on customers' production lines. There is also a fast-moving product range sold via e-commerce, which the customers can set up themselves.
Their products are well-received and in demand across all markets and we are looking to strengthen our UK sales team to capitalise on this growth.
Job Description
- Researching established and new markets to identify customers and suitable contacts.
- Developing new and existing customers in the UK manufacturing industries, including timber packaging, building products and consumer goods (70% focus on new business; 30% on growing existing accounts).
- Providing sales materials such as print samples or product videos for customers and marketing use.
- Assisting with order fulfilment from UK Head Office as required.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level in Business / Marketing or Sales, and / or Sales experience.
- Some interest in and understanding industrial electronics and software.
- Ability to work on own initiative, to identify and create sales opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a car owner.
