Our client is offering an exciting new opportunity for an Internal Sales Assistant to join and support their sales team. Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Supporting the sales team in managing and expanding the customer base.
- Contacting clients and new potential customers to introduce the full range of transport and logistics services offered
- Booking appointments from leads generated by the sales team
- Dealing with customer queries, either by telephone or email.
- Dealing with any problems that require escalation
- Quoting customer rates
- Covering emails while staff are out of the office.
- General admin via emails
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inside sales with quotations and customer service
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
